Ceylinco Building Society Limited (CBSL) is the only building society in Sri Lanka. CBSL was incorporated on the 18th August 1995 under the National Housing Act No.37 of 1954 of Sri Lanka with the objective of providing financial assistance to members for housing and related purposes, by raising funds through the subscriptions of the members.
Our aim is to offer customers and the members the highest standards of service. You can rest assured that at CBSL we will stay in touch with our core values to build on the local advantages and personal service that we value so highly. CBSL has 13 branches from Jaffna to Galle. Our staff is highly trained, sensible individuals. We look after them, in the same way they will look after you. As a mutual organization we exist to serve the best interest of our customers and members. By remaining mutual and not having to pay dividends to shareholders, we can continue to operate within much narrower margins. This enables us to offer more favorable rates to borrowers and savers alike. When you walk into your local CBSL branch you’ll find a relaxing, welcoming environment, staffed by friendly individuals whose sole aim is to help you in any way they can. Our literature (and this website) has been carefully designed to be informative and easy to understand, not full of jargon. CBSL comes under the Ceylinco Consultancy and Allied Services (CCAS) group of the Ceylinco Consolidated, one of the 12 sub groups of Ceylinco Consolidated. |
